Kick-off bilateral expert meeting on electronic medical devices

The bilateral kick-off meeting of the project line Strengthening safety of medical devices, using the example of electronic medical devices will take place on 14 September 2021, 08:30-10:30 (UTC – 5) / 15:30 – 17:30 (CEST). The project line is part of the Work Plan of the German-Mexican Dialogue on Quality Infrastructure, established between the Mexican Ministry of Economy (Secretaría de Economía - SE) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie - BMWi).

The objective is to present the project line agreed on within the German-Mexican Dialogue on Quality Infrastructure. The meeting also aims to establish a bilateral group of experts to deepen the exchange of information about electronic medical devices and their quality assurance in Mexico and Germany/the European Union. Together, they will develop concrete recommendations for Mexican technical regulations for these devices.
