Am 31. März 2020 erklärten das MOFCOM, GACC und das NMPA gemeinsam, die Kontrollen beim Export bestimmter medizinischer Produkte auszuweiten. Erklärtes Ziel der Maßnahme ist, Produktqualität und -sicherheit beim Export von in China hergestellten medizinischen Produkte sicherzustellen, die im Zuge der Corona-Pandemie weltweit stark nachgefragt sind.
