Bei den Außenwirtschaftstagen des Wirtschaftsministeriums stellte das GPQI seine Arbeit deutschen Unternehmen vor. Eine virtuelle Weltreise zu den Standorten des Projekts würdigte das Engagement von Expert*innen und QI-Institutionen.

 

Indien verzeichnet jährlich mehrere tausend Arbeitsunfälle. Die Funktionssicherheit von Maschinen gewinnt immer mehr an Bedeutung. Deutsche und indische Expert*innen diskutierten dieses Thema am 7. August im Rahmen eines Online-Austauschs, organisiert durch den VDMA Indien.   

Indian and German experts discussed the role of standardisation and conformity assessment at a workshop in New Delhi on 18 June 2019. As part of the event, the Global Project Quality Infrastructure (GPQI) India introduced the Indo-German Standardisation Dialogue within the Working Group on Quality Infrastructure.

On Tuesday 18 June 2019 the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) is organising a workshop on standardisation and conformity assessment in cooperation with the Global Project Quality Infrastructure (GPQI) in New Delhi.

On 5 December, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Indian Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and the Indian Ministry of Labour and Employment came together in New Delhi to launch the publication Making Safe Machines a Standard in India.
