GPQI presented its work to German companies at the Foreign Trade & Investment Promotion Days of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy. A virtual world tour to the project's locations acknowledged the commitment of experts and QI institutions.

As part of the event, the Global Project Quality Infrastructure (GPQI) India introduced the Indo-German Standardisation Dialogue within the Working Group on Quality Infrastructure.

On Tuesday 18 June 2019 the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) is organising a workshop on standardisation and conformity assessment in cooperation with the Global Project Quality Infrastructure (GPQI) in New Delhi.

On 5 December, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Indian Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and the Indian Ministry of Labour and Employment came together in New Delhi to launch the publication Making Safe Machines a Standard in India.
