In 2018, the Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency (ANEEL), the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro) and GIZ have promoted a series of activities to establish a conducive environment to advance electromobility in Brazil through technical regulation.

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) released a Standards National Action Plan (SNAP) on 29 March 2019. The plan supplements the Indian National Strategy for Standardization (INSS) which the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry released in June 2018.

On 1 April 2019, the Indian Ambassador to Germany, Ms Mukta D. Tomar, signed a “fast-track” agreement with State Secretary Mr Christian Hirte of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The agreement intends to ease investments and doing business for Indian companies in Germany.
